Segovia

Hi there everyone!

Posting hasnt been regular I know.. But im trying! I've been doing lots lately. Someday ill post about the night life cuz its CRAZY here!!

Last weekend, we had our first excursion to Segovia. Its kinda like a little village with a castle, cathedral and everything :)

Random picture, but i just want to throw in there that in Spain, you can drink water from any faucet. Apparently, their tap water is super clean. Here I am, taking an advantage of the free agua! I'm all about free things!

This is the first thing you see when you enter the village. Its an aqueduct (bridge carries water from the mountains to the city) and it stretches over 9 miles long!

You cant tell from the pictures, but theres HUNDREDS of little black birds that fly around the aqueduct. But for some reason, these birds dont flap their wings much when they fly so they kinda look like bats. When your there, you almost feel like youre in some kind of a horror movie.

The nastiest thing happened to me . I got pooped on by a bird :(
Do u see it?? its that little white speck in the back of my head. At least i wasnt looking up with my mouth open, right??

This is the castle of Segovia. It's a lot bigger but I dont have any better pictures. Im also too lazy to upload the pictures from the inside of the castle. Sorry.

There's even a moat around it! It's dry now but it used to be filled with water. I wonder if they actually put crocadiles in them back then

This is the water well. I pretended I was Snow White and started singing the wishing well song to everyone.
"Wanna know a secret?
Promise not to tell?
We are standing by a wishing well.
Just make a wish into the well, that's all you have to do...."
I think that was their first exposure to how weird I really am. Hahha, they got more coming.

When I was looking down the well, I was imaging Samara from The Ring trying to crawl up.
Scarryyyy....
This is the view from on top of the castle. Pretty huh?? Its a maze.

This is just a view of the whole village.
That's their Cathedral. Its crazier looking in person.
